Why Philippines is a unique country in terms of political or geographical status?

i think, we're the only country that was able to oust two presidents. aside from that, we maximize much of our democracy thus making us quite capable of controlling our own system. (though not much)

geographically, check the reasons why the Spaniards, Japanese and  the Americans had conquered us.

We are the only predominantly Christian nation in the whole of Far East Asia.

We are also unique in our democratic Presidential form of Government, and with two legislative houses, in our part of the world.   Most have either parliamentary, or autocratic types.

The strategic geographical location of the islands had always attracted imperialists to take hold,  because they are afforded a central way station to mainland Asia while controlling the sea routes.

Phil constitutes a lot of Tribes and islands with different values,culture and belief but aside from that diferrences Filipinos are still united in many ways.

For the geographical status, the country is in front of the Pacific Ocean compared to other Southeast Asian countries. More sea life comes to the shores of my country.
