Why Ponting only gets fined and not banned like Inzamam, Ganguly or Collingwood?

Australia's over rate has been poor on sevral occasions and he often shows his displeasure when the umpire gives a decision against his side.

When the other captains did this, they got banned by ICC but Ponting always skips this.

  1. It is true ICC & its pannel umpires have no guts to do so they will give reply that he his shown displeasure which is not coming under their rules and regulation or less than what the others banned skipper had done. Reason will that champion never do wrong in what ever way

  2. Coz he is australian

  3. Spot on mate.

Not only Ponting many other Aussies act like nothing could go wrong for them.

Good thing ,they  can't dominate the cricket world  due to teams like IND, SA

  4. he bribes ICC

  5. partiality

  6. even i have noticed that- but we cant do anything- the reason is that australia is the no. 1 team in the world and the umpires think that they can do no wrong- remember clarke claiming a catch of ganguly when india toured australia......

  7. u r ABSOLUTELY CORRECT  IN UR OBSERVATION.....

ponting thinks himself as GOD OF CRICKET.....

he should be punished severely......for all the wrong acts he has done on the field.............and off it too!!!!!!!

  8. Because he is ponting (poin - ting) towards the umpire and feels that his father owns the ICC...

  9. He thinks ICC is owned by his dad.

  10. Come on mate. Why is everybody after the poor Australians. Maybe they have skipped the line sometimes. Nowadays India too is playing aggressive cricket. Please tell me, Are u not loving it. Everybody like emotions on cricket field. Personally I love to see Australian style of Cricket. I don't want An Australian side which only let their Bat and Ball do the talking. Wasn't the recent series between Australia and India interesting. I would anytime skip Pakistan vs India to watch Australia vs India. What would you do?

  11. Well he obviously didn't offend the umpire as much as the others did. There are degrees of dissent, and his must have been a lower grade offence. We didn't take our own umpires over there you know, so why bad mouth the ones who are doing a fair job.

  12. Suggest you go check your facts before making a fool of yourself ;-)

  13. We must ban ICC for racial Discrimination and accepting bribes.
