  1. There  is a train working  in the  area.

There may be a local  train on the tracks, but instead of continuing to the crossing, he may stop and pull into a nearby siding  to spot a car.

  2. i agree with the first answer

  3. I think aliens might have something to do with that .

  4. The gates come down BEFORE the train comes roaring through, and they go back up AFTER the train has gone buy. You know a better way?

  5. Dirt tech is right of course, aliens wish us all dead so they can have all the twinkies.

    or . . . . . there is an alternate theory . . . . . . . . .

The crossing protection is built with a very high rate of redundancy so if there is an error, it is in the side of safety, not the other way around.

False indications can happen, this just proves one point, they are man-made devices and will fail, no matter how well built.

The only 100% perfect way to avoid injury or death is to look, each and every time. Never ever under any circumstances trust the crossing protection.

  6. There is a gost from the past that knows that the cars that go around the crossing gates, are pushing there luck. Remember to: Stop. look, and live!
