Have to appease the far right. Don't sweat it. In a McCain administration, you'll still be able to snuff your kid.

The republicans held the congress, the presidency, and a far right Supreme Court for the first 6 years of this decade. They could have eliminated abortion already if they wanted to.

Thing is, they don't want to. They use abortion as a wedge issue every election in order to get the emotional vote of the anti-choice crowd. If they overturned it, it would gives the democrats power for all the following elections.

Roe v Wade will NEVER be overturned, by democrats OR republicans.
