  1. To say he is playing bad is an over exaggeration and is not exactly true.

However yes has been off form this year and below his usual incredibly high standards.

To pin-point the exactly reason for this would be hard and maybe Federer himself doesn't even know. Glandular fever certainly wouldn't of helped.

For Roger to have played at the Aussie is quite amazing considering Mario Ancic I think too had Glandular fever and missed around 9 months.

This year Roger has made a grand slam and semi and a final aswell as finals in several masters events on a surface of his least preference.

I am sure that during the grass court season we will see him return to his best and again show himself worthy of his number 1 ranking/ What I mean by that is he is 3rd in the race.

Another factor could be his age. This would sound odd but if you look at players like Hewitt and Safin both of which are the same players they were 4 or 5 years ago but to get results of the same consistency is not as easy as you get older. In tennis terms 26 is now ancient!!! so that may also be a factor.

  2. Plays so bad? Finals of the french open ... what are you referring to? Is it that he doesnt win everything now?

  3. I got 4 words to say.......

    '' He is the best''

  4. Bad shouldn't be the word.  A semifinal & final appearance in grand slams, a couple of finals and semifinals appearance in masters series isn't a bad performance, isn't it?  Compare to previous form where Federer use to win almost every tournament he entered, no doubt that his current performance can't be rated as good.  Due to past performance, people use to have more expectation from Federer.  People expect him to win everything but they have forget the fact that Federer is also a human being.  He can't maintain that level of play all the time.  He's been bothering by illness and injuries.  Mental problem is also a factor as it has been bothering Federer for quite sometime, although I'm not sure what is it.  Give him sometime as I'm sure that he'll recover.  I'm sure that if he keeps playing, he'll break Sampras 14 Grand Slam record.  Even I'm a big fan of Nadal but I hope that we all should stop criticize Federer as he deserve a respect as a champion.

  5. he is best player , he does not play bad

  6. To start off, he had that malaria disease thing during the Australian Open, which caused his movement and strokes to slow down and it didn't allow him to run shots down and hit the ball as hard. He got a little lucky against Janko Tipsarevic, considering Tipsarevic doesn't return serve so well. At the French, I think he was recovered though. Nadal is just plain right better than him.

Now you'll have to analyze how he plays during Wimbledon to show that he's completely better. He hasn't complained about the disease in a long time.

  7. Because he has lost his competitive edge and his main rivals are getting stronger. The Federer era is over. I don't think he will win another slam for the rest of his career.

  8. why ur question so stupid?????stupid
