Why has Rohit Sharma been chosen over Tamil Nadu captain Subramanium Badrinath? I am a big fan of RS but SB deserves a chance as well. He was credited by Rahul Dravid himself, saying that he had a fine technique but was unlucky not to make it to the team..........

  1. may be politics

  2. He proved much better in National team~

  3. Both are good, but I think rohit is little better than Badrinath. I have seen Rohit play in domestic cricket before he was selected for the national team, he was good (as he plays for Mumbai).

Badrinath is also good, he will also get his chance. I hope he succeeds.

  4. dont know.. may be talent or politics

  5. Badrinath has become the Captain of the Young India team that is going with more under 20 players to Australia for some matches.

  6. rohit is much more experienced at international level

  7. Badrinath is an south Indian.

  8. It seems to me that the selectors these days are interested in pairs such as Ishant Sharma & Rohit Sharma AND Irfan Pathan & Yousuf Pathan. Maybe they are waiting for another Badrinath otherwise Badrinath is a very fine cricketer indeed.
