Why SOME dc motor not work as generator ???

Please help me by explain to why some dc motor not work well

as generator.Thank you so much.

  1. to have a gen. you need to turn the motor with an external power source. where as a dc motor is powered by a dc current or power source;)


  2. I am going to assume that you already knew that you must turn

    the dc Motor (Generator) with an external power source!

    The reason some DC motors work better the others is due to

    the power of the permanent magnets that the armature turns between !
