Why Sachin Tendulkar reminds a lot of people of Sir Don Bradman?

Not many batsmen have been compared with Bradman as much as Sachin and most of the people who compare him with Bradman are non-Indians.

It's interesting that the biggest admirers of Sachin's batting have been cricket journalists from Australia and UK.What special thing do they and us see in Sachin so we keep relating his batting with that of Bradman's?

Hey My dear friend u know i m watching all Cricket Series live on a site. Now a days i watching Eng v NZ series & also WI v Aus cricket Series live. Wow what a site. Both are short. Both are middle order test match batsmen. Their reflexes are similar. Some of their shots are identical.

Bradman is the greatest test match batsman. Bradman is the greatest test match player.

Tendulkar is the greatest cricket player, considering test matches and ODIs and also considering the number of matches played, the amount of batting, bowling and fielding he has done. No player has done as much on cricket field as Tendulkar.

Both are great their own ways.

umm if u havent noticed sachin is an all time great batsman and is one of the master blasters so i dont find it ammusing that he is a reminder of sir don bradman

it is your view.  we are not seeing him like Bradman.  Bradman's style of play is uncomparable.  we are all fans on those days to him.  sachin attempts like him.  thats all.  Bradman played cricket for  cricket.  sachin too playing cricket for money.  Bradman 's test cricket is different from sachin.  Bradman is Bradman and schin is sachin. To my memory, Bradman not acted or gave pose for any advertisements and earned money. Bradman  never said his secret of energy. Hence, sachin not reminds him.  But, i like sachin and his play.

well the biggest conmpliment that was made to any cricketer ever, was when DON BRADMEN said SACHIN reminds him of himself. WOW.

The thing is that, we english and aussies, admire and respect champions. Unlike a lot of people from the subcontinent.

No one apart from the Bradmen and Sachin has ever got a  reception of a standing ovvation when they come out to bat, even when sachin gets out for 1, everyone still stands up and claps, in the UK and Australia.

Supposedly he is going to get an honary knighthood by the queen
