  1. because real madrid was saying that if ronaldo handed in a transfer request then they would make a offer but man utd havent said that to berbatov so there isnt no rule violations so far

  2. Because Spurs have offerd Berba to man u

    Man u didn't offer Ronaldo

  3. Because no one takes Tottenham seriously.  Though I think even Arsenal supporters would like to see Man U smacked over something like this.

  4. it goes on all the time unfortunately.......

  5. I think it's because Man U first talked to the club, and then to the player. Also, the player wants to leave, after that there's nothing to report. The problem with Madrid was they pressed for Ronaldo before he announced he was open to leave Man U.

  6. its pointless, they want him he wants to go and he will go one way or the other    so why do they go around this daft merry go round every time.

  7. not uefa dude, it's FA..UEFA deals only with transfers relating to clubs from diff leagues in europe....so this problem has already been reported to the Football Association ,but FA has asked spurs to provide further evidence as to united's and SAF's public pursuit of berba.

since Tottenham were unable to come with the proper evidence , The FA dropped the case until Tottenham wishes to come up with anymore charges against Man Utd

therefore FA dropped the charges since there were no solid proofs as to Tottenhams raised allegations!

moreover it was some united fans association in Switzerland  which raised their concerns abt berba being linked with man utd...and they have apologized ever since that incident..so SAF is clean in this matter!

he never publicly said that he was looking for berba...he made it clear after their initial bid of 20.5m failed..

also tottenham were willing to let go of him if their asking price was met..so there's no point in complaining to FA again

  8. I think it's because, unlike the Ronaldo situation, Tottenham really do want to sell berbatov at the right price so that they will have money for their own signings, like possibly bringing in Andrei Arshavin. United stated from the beginning that Ronaldo wasn't leaving, yet Real persisted, so they just got annoyed that there were rumors that a player who wasn't for sale mite leave. Tottenham has been shopping Berbatov around for a transfer during  the latter part of this summer and I believe that they wouldn't even think about reporting United because they certainly don't want to turn off the one team who seems to be getting increasingly close to the asking price for Berbatov.
