Why TATA INDICOM charges Rs. 17.50 for a minute for the calls made to Dubai (UAE) and how airtel is cheaper?

A call for about 20-25 minutes to someone dear in Dubai a few days back cost us about Rs. 250/-; when checked from helpline of Tata.Indicom, the reply was "YES". While STD charges are reasonable, why ISD rates too high as compaared to Airtel which is about 6-7 Rs. per minute.

Yes , airtel gulf calling charges are very low comparitevely .............

17.5 / min is too great ......... huh ......... how did u manage it !!

Try  move to any other good service providers ....... airtel is also good

It's called capitalism. If TaTa was smart they would lower there prices as well.  anyways who the heck uses TATa in Dubai?  Indian companies all s***w people.

Yes u are right calling to Dubai from airtel is much cheaper comparatively, b'cose as far as I am aware of they have a pact with UAE government but tata on the other hand do not.same with Hutch which is now vodaphone it is very cheap because of the same reason.
