  1. 1 the euro was new and had not yet built trust 2 bill Clinton killed the glass steagal act  causing the current mortgage crisishttp://www.progressivehistorians.com/200...  http://my.barackobama.com/page/community...  3we have mismanaged the  fuel situation first by adding ethanol [caused corn shortages] then by allowing prices to rise so fast.4 we are borrowing money to finance the war even though the dollar is not the prime worldwide monetary unit.this affects the dollars value more now than at anytime in history

  2. clinton has s*x in the oval office

bush uses the money we have to help other people

  3. Basic economics.

  4. The USA lives on foreign investment (4 billion a day) since the Reaganomics voodoo economics took Americans by storm.

We spend and then spend some more, then we crash, called a correction, it happened in 1987 and 1998, it happens now.

The 1998 crash was covered up by more voodoo economics and now we have to pay double the price for it.

We haven't seen the bottom yet and it will last 10 years or more.

There is a web site, where you can see the national debt ticker ticking, its brutal.

  5. We borrowed too much to pay for the Iraq war.  Wars are expensive, and we went into this without another country helping us out financially.  Its gone on so long that we are bleeding money.  Two and more Billion a month. Even though the country of Iraq now has a surplus.

Under Clinton we restrained spending on the military, not because he didn't like the military, but because under Reagan the Cold War ended.  If Clinton had gutted the military as some would say, it wouldn't have been ready for a two-front war a year after he left.

Bush also lowered taxes for the weathy at the same time spending went up.  No one does that in a time of war.

Bush also subscribes to the trickle down theory which at its end point leaves little to the working people while insuring the fatcats get chubbier.
