To me it feels strange somebody inheriting that position simply because he(Diana's Husband)/she is born in that family.

  1. is this a serious question- you really dnt know if the UK has a queen still????

    My word....

The royal family I personally think have outlived their status in the UK.. but yes, Queen Liz is still in power, chuck is next in line then his very handsome but loosing hair son Will is after him, party hard harry is after will ect....

Google it. You will find the whole Royal History!

  2. you'd be surprized on how much power she or any one has in the Royal family has.

It's tradition and the war of the Roses made it so.

  3. The royals have the power to ostracize, which they use ruthlessly against all critics of their life style and arrogance. Wielding power like that makes the critics keep to themselves, or leave britain. They can exercise leverage against critics by money and wealth to coerce employers of critics to discharge them or bar them from any advancements in their employment such as preventing banks from extending credit to employers who keep critics of the royals in their employ, having friends of the critics cut off social contacts with them, and other nefarious tactics.

  4. When you look at some of the elected leaders of state around the world.....the Royal Family look pretty good in comparison !

  5. Who says she hasn't got any power!

Theve been around for awhile and thats just how it is, why do people have to question how it is and how is it going to be any better without them, there will just be a whole lot of other problems.

  6. Because the British people a) like things to change as little as possible and b) don't trust any of their politicians enough to make them head of state.
