Why US Open title will not be clinched by any of the Top-4 men? – Tennis Special

It might sound weird to hear something like that stated in the heading but it is highly likely that the Top-4 players in the world of men’s tennis will not be able to pick up the US Open crown this season.
Former world number one, Novak Djokovic, is struggling from a psychological phobia that has forced him down the in the previous two latest editions of the Grand Slam Championships, the Roland Garros French Open and the Wimbledon
Championships.
Everyone knows that the French Open is not going to get away from the Spanish number one, Rafael Nadal, anytime soon so there is no point talking about the run of the Serb at Paris, France.
In the Wimbledon Championships, he was the favourite to take the title but the Swiss Maestro, Roger Federer, came on top after losing the second set in the semi-final clash.
It was a sweet comeback for the 30-year-old Swiss who has been struggling to the win the Grand Slam titles in the recent past. However, his tally of 17 Grand Slam titles still remains the record to be beaten in the singles category.
Djokovic has won a Grand Slam for this year at the Australian Open in January so he is not eligible to win anymore Major title in my eyes. He needs to tone down his attitude at the courts, stop over-reacting and smashing racquets
like kids and more importantly those sarcastic gestures at the tight calls of umpires needs to be written off completely in order to build some respect in the tennis fanatics’ community.
Everyone is hurt by wrong calls but the attitude of the Serb former world number one has not been of the highest order. He smashed his racquet at the court several times during the final showdown against the Spanish number one
in the French Open and same happened against Federer in the semi-final of the Wimbledon Championships.
What kind of top seeded player he is if he can’t control his emotions? He is the brand ambassador of the game and probable icon for the youngsters but his attitude is definitely hazardous for the upcoming breed of tennis. The 25-year-old
Serb has to increase the tolerance level and needs to absorb some unlucky calls from the umpires and sidelines in order to build some respect in the eyes of tennis fanatics.
Nadal is out of action since June and it is highly unlikely that he will make a monumental impact on his return to the professional tennis. He is still recovering from the niggling knee injury so his chances of winning a Major
title this year are over in my eyes.
Federer has done his part by clasping on to his seventh Wimbledon title at the All England Lawn Tennis Club. So, he will not be handed over another title except the year-end finale. For me, Andy Murray, is just out of question
because he is not winning a Grand Slam anytime soon considering the amount of pressure he plays in.
So, brace yourselves for a brand new US Open Champion and that too from the non-elite Top-4 category.
