*sigh* do you really think that asking questions like this would really work? especially on an american site? you'll just get madder when you read some of these responses. some things are better when you keep it to yourself. anyways...answering your question. who even cares how the united states count their medals?  the only thing that matters is that china has 51 medals, 15 more than the united states, and also the most in the world. and also quite frankly, i think china should go to war with all those imbecile countries when the olympics are over.

Because they want to "win" the Olympics? I do not see how everyone thinks the country as a whole wins. It is the individual athlete that wins the event.

In the USA we make up our own minds about how the count the medals, there is no Government telling us what to think.

We will not get re-educated if we say China scored better this games.

War of the EGO, america wants to say they "WON"  Olympicss by getting the most medals, the rest of the world who doesn'tt like america want to say china "WON" theOlympicc cause they got the most gold, so basically they turn an event that is supposed to make the world a better place into a who got the biggest d%ck in the world contest.
