Why WON'T the world end in 2012?

It can't end in 2012.. I turn twenty on 12/12/12.. I don't wanna have something to do with the end of the world.. lol

Because a calender ending means s**+-t because mine ends every year and yet I am still here after 25 of them.

How about a financial answer: Previous performance cannot ensure future results.

However, the world was going to end according to someone's belief system every year for the past zillion years. And it didn't happen. Even when they all wore Nike shoes.

Show me the evidence that it will? As for the Bible saying it will end in 2012, show me the evidence. As for the scientific evidence, show me. I have hear a lot of bull about this but read the Bible and you will find that only the Father in Heaven knows. That means only God knows and he does not talk to sinners.

well biblical reasoning says that no one will know when the end is, and scientific reasoning seems like it is nonsense to place an exact date on the end of the world....

it might happen, but it probably won't, so just live your life like it isn't because i doubt that it will

You seriously expect a "scientific explanation" as to why the world won't end in 2012? Good luck. But if you want to bring science in some aspect into it, how about this --- there IS no scientific evidence to support any such predictions or theories that the world WILL end then! I'm sure some people out there have all sorts of pseudoscientific "evidence" or "proof." Keep in mind, people have been predicting for CENTURIES that various certain dates or years will be the end of the world, and how many of those claims have been proven right so far?

If the world does end in 2012, by the way, I MAY rethink my position!
