Why Was Mary Carillo not in the booth for the Men's Final like she had been in past years?

I noticed this last year.  I guess they only want 2 commentators for the Finals. She did however comment on the Womens Final.

It's men's final, so they allowed two men commentators.

Which is fair, and it was a Grand Slam.

I dunno. I think she may have been commentating the women's match, even though I didn't watch it.

She came in after the first rain delay, but thats all I heard of her.

i noticed that as well. she in years past,has been a fixture alongside ted and johnny mac for both the women's and men's finals. maybe they're changing the direction? maybe she had to leave early and get back home? pam shriver did that before the semifinals were set.
