  1. Look like Malaysian police force needs to take extreme measures to eradicate the problem. Mobile patrol and vehicle patrol should be put in place for areas prone to victimise tourists and locals. What we see here is limited resource being deployed efficiently and effectively for the problem.

Ironically, crime occurs 24/7 at unpredictable timing if desires and needs are blinded by moral code of right and wrong due to certain circumstances unknown to us. We can prevent by being vigilant and take steps to minimise being targeted by criminals.

  2. I think it is only natural for robbers to target tourists. Singaporeans doing weekend shopping in JB are considered as tourist.

Wherever you go as a tourist, you will always be targeted as you're more vulnerable. In a sense that you do not have friends or relatives around to help.

On top of that, you will be presumed to have more cash with you.

    It happens everywhere.

  3. Crime happens everywhere. Be extra careful. Handbags should be avoided. I do go to Johor Bahru on and off, and no problem till now. I guess the police is working hard in decreasing the crime rate. Compared to KL, i think KL crime rate is higher than JB though, and it doesn't stop people from going to KL. Just be extra careful. Walk in a group not alone, you should be fine.

  4. All place have crime. You cannot avoid it. If it want to happen, its will happen.

  5. well.. crime is everywhere.. sometime it goes up sometimes goes down..

but i;ve been travelling to Jb quite a lot.. not encounter any crime so far except for illegal parking by visitors in danga bay areas..

  6. My, my, my, Delilah

    Why, why, why, Delilah

  7. oi ! This food section.

  8. There are crimes all over the world. I believe we should take out own precaution as well. Try to be in group even go to the toilet. I have been in and out JB & Singapore for 10 over years, but did not encounter crime so far.

  9. The people whom do no crime ..pay for the bad which some others impose.

Maybe someday soon you can go shopping in Johore Bahru once again.
