vista, like all other windows os, when first released it has a lot of bugs and is prone to hackers and viruses unless you have good software protection programs.

it requires a large amount of processing power and a lot of ram and takes up a large chunk of your hard drive (20gb of ur hd goes to the os) you need about 2gb of ram and a duo core processor to run it decently

and since its new it lacks alot of software support and isn't great at backwards compatibility

it was created by a committee, in seperate pieces, then hastily assembled with chewing gum and staples to make its shipping date
