  1. Cause they will be blamed as copycat. And, Windows is a lot easier to use.

  2. Microsoft is not a hardware company.

  3. Microsoft made their name by developing an operating system and licensing it out to any company who made hardware.

Apple on the other hand, believe that they can better develop their brand by engineering software and hardware simultaneously to work exclusively with each other.

This is one big reason why MAC OS appears to run more stable than Windows. Windows is made to accommodate millions of hardware configurations from all sorts of manufacturers. As a result, it kinda gets bigger and more bloated with every release.

MAC OS only has to handle a limited amount of configurations (as many configurations as there are different Macintosh models)

Which is like, 9 or 10 or something.

Ironically, the new Apple Intel based computers can run Windows because they are based on the Intel x86 architecture and not the Motorola G processor architecture.

  4. they just make os, and then they would have a llot of hadrware complaints, apple is not as huge, and they make everything themselves, they even have their own stores, microsoft does not, though that would be cool, i think they should make their own computers, because they would look better than apples
