I'm trying to both print something and connect my camera to my computer to transfer photos, but I am unable to do neither. It works on one of my computers but not the other, and I need to use it on the one that isn't working. I plug it in, turn on the camera/printer and it doesnt register on the computer that they are connected.

  1. Go into BIOS and make sure USB function is enabled.

If your not sure which key to press as your PC boots, Google your model, as     "Access BIOS for xxxxxx. Or something to that effect.    XXXXX = your PC.

    Good luck, DW

  2. See this blog for one simple solution [leaves an unknown device in device manager, but enables USB device to work].

The usual cause of this problem is that you need to install the chip set drivers for the computer's motherboard. That will install the USB controllers that enable USB devices to work. You should be able to download these from the computer manufacturer's website. They will be listed as either motherboard or chip set drivers.

  3. use a new PCI usb card because ur version of usb is an older one which is 1.0 ,now a days it is 2.0.

for any other help u can ask me on my blog
