Cutemum recently asked a question concerning 'your top 20 players'

i answered it, well in my own way, but i had a joke with cutemum as she knew it was i would think, and then some low speciman deletes it, well there must of been a few to have it removed, why?

Please guys, lets keep our sense of humour and not go the way of other sections, where there is nothing but reporting going on. i will not report a single question unless it is a blatant attack on others or myself. lets stay civil and just enjoy this section.

your comments would be apprieciated, what do we all think, we can all get along, can't we?

can not see anything wrong with that.as you say we need a sense of humour.Must admit i am not on here enough to worry too much about trolls etc. but have missed one of the contacts that have been chased away by people just not being fair.

I do enjoy most Q&A but this section is the best would like to keep it that way.

it was harmless enough but unfortunately some people cannot take a joke!

I've had questions and answers reported but there's nothing we can do.. if you find out who does them then we can block them but otherwise we just have to live with it..

I'm abit disappointed, i love this section because there are no trolls and genuinely nice people here. guess thats all changed :(

I have seen plenty of banter between the two of you and that compared to somethings is absolutley plain.

I think that before anybody reports anybody in this section you need to be on here for a while. I have been here for about a week or two and still wouldn't dream of it, might make a comment in my answer that a answer was a bit harsh but gee wizz this is an Aussie Footy section we should be able to have nice jabs and pokes at players, teams and at times eachother.

To all of the newbies out there hang fire and get to know the people in these areas before you report them, you honestly do not know the online relationships people have and you do not know how people muck around in this section.

I say keep on going Romper and what I have seen of cutemum I do not think she would have taken offence at that one, when I know myself I have slammed some of the players she has said were cute in more than a nice way.

This section has some great people passionate about their team with a good sense of humour others obviously take things a bit too seriously and need to lighten up enjoy the footy rivalry and have a laugh thats what this section is all about.

You've no idea how many I get deleted. It's a wonder I haven't had my account suspended. Not for anything nasty, though - lots of violation notices for chatting; not a question or an answer; not complying with community rules & such like.

Most times it is someone playing the man & not the ball. I know of a couple who report me regularly & for such petty issues it has convinced me that no-one monitors & checks the alleged violations - but just deletes the answer after X amount of reports (Is it two?).

I agree that your comments weren't offensive in any way - so whoever is doing the reporting is either playing the man or is an out & out old fuddy-duddy without a life other than "her" computer screen.

Yes. The AFL section surely is petty when it comes to posts being reported for trivial things.

Most times it is not what is posted - but who has posted it. One can see all sorts of comments through this section which remain untouched - but try posting similar comments yourself & they will be deleted.

All depends who you have upset one way or the other at some stage.
