The girl has been around the block so to speak, dated, and been with all kinds of guys, so why would she marry a man 20 years older than herself? He was married before and has 2 children. So why would she marry an older guy with troubles??

  1. $$$

  2. I married a man 12 years older than me. He isn't wealthy and I was aware of his issues. We just get along well, from the superficial (he's literate and I find him attractive) to the "deal breakers" (he's open-minded and he isn't controlling). We challenge each other, we support each other's goals, and we genuinely care about each other's interests. There have been times when people have asked us a question, and we responded the exact same way, down to our hand gestures, the way we positioned our bodies, and the words we said. Even though he's 12 years older than me I still feel that we are perfectly matched.

My brother judges our relationship because of the age difference, which makes me laugh because, as much as I love my brother, he's been in an on and off 8 year relationship with a woman who beats him, and he thinks that just because we are 12 years apart, he has room to judge. My response to him? My man may be older than me, but he's never beat me, so I think my relationship might be a little healthier than his.

People are keen on judging other people's relationships, but unless you're that person in the relationship, you have no idea what the person's reason was for marrying them. It's shocking to think, I know, but it may be love.

  3. Perhaps she loves him.

  4. Umm, does he have money?

  5. Well, she would probably marry an older man because she's looking for a father-like figure. It sounds to me like she either had an extremely crappy father or no father at all, which would explain the sleeping around. Or h**l, it could be for money.

Why do you consider marrying a man with 2 children, a man with "troubles"? What's wrong with having children from a previous relationship?

  6. money, security, status and a better quality of life.

  7. When a very promiscuous women gets married it is typically one of three things.

    1.  He has money.

    2.  He is a straight p**n star in the bedroom.

    3.  She has matured and settled down.

Because of the age factor it almost excludes reason 2 and 3.

  8. She probably loves him.  It doesn't take a genius.

  9. Older men tend to be a lot more mature and settled then men her own age, you couple that with the fact that he is on average better educated, his finances are more secure and is more settled than someone 12 years his junior. Older men and younger women happen all the time and usually it is for those reasons, of course there are the daddy issues or for money but most of the ones I have seen are due to maturity and the other reasons I listed.

  10. Money, money, money, money.

The only answer, my friend.  :)

  11. She wants control of the relationship.

The vast, vast majority of women only enter a relationship with a man if they believe they can get control. She was deemed wild only b/c she selected men who had more brains than she, and could leave her. The older man with dependents won't leave and this is the control she desires.

  12. She's the troubled one, not him.  Perhaps he's the first one who ever treated her like a lady, with honor, respect and love.

She may have been Aldonza, but to him she's Dulcinea.  Sounds good to me.  I wish them well.

(Besides, he's much better in bed than the monkeys she's been with in the past.)

  13. I  like  a  man  who's  at  least  ten  years  older  than  I  am .  I'd  be  proud  to  be  married  to  an  older  man,  and  I'd  love  his  children  as  if  they  were  my  own !

  14. Money, usually.

    Or some father figure problems.

Although there is the rare case that the person did not seem like they were that old, and that can work. You can't have a father figure complex about someone you thought was your age.

  15. I would say it's for the money.
