  1. Any TV repairman you talk to will tell you all tvs made today are pure c**p.

You pay THOUSANDS of dollars and most don't even have a life expectancy of 10 years.

If it wasn't for the extended warranty we bought, our tv would have cost half of what we purchased it for to fix, and the guy said it's not worth it, you're better off to buy a "new" one but since it was covered we fixed it.  If you play GAMES on it, cut that life expectancy in half if not less.

I'm sure many tv's will come will all kinds of "bugs" in them.  They aren't made with the same technology they once were.

But hey we ask for it we get it.  Read my question in Home Theatre about BLU RAY format....sure hope you have a system that's compatible because the regular DVD is about to have a huge funeral.

  2. umm thats not good go get it looked at

  3. I don't think it's broken. Check to see if there is a "caption" option on your unit. If so, you may be seeing an empty caption box.

Most likely, it's a goof in the software. The large CE firms that produce scads of products (like Panasonic) are always under the gun to get the latest models to market. It's not uncommon to see goofy things in the software. If they weren't under pressure to bring out two new line-ups each and every year, they would have more time to perfect the things they make.
