Are you insane? The word "ALWAYS" is neither true nor correct.

Some rare or occasional person will covet the mate of another. It has happened before and it will happen again. This is the reason why it made its way  to the ten commandments.

MOST women and MEN can see that there is a lot more  fishes in the ocean than the ones already caught in the baskets of other people, even if those fishes are yelling out loudly of being unhappy or wanting to be "free".

A "slightly used" fish or a second hand fish is attractive to the starving beached bear.

Therefore,  "find a bigger pool" is my advice.

Most people will tell you to "keep your shrimp" and go out hunting a biggerfish for themselves.

The first question is very easy - desire. You want what you can't have. Simple. Read up on some Buddhism.

Second question. It's because their own children are part of them, they are creations of them. Your child is a remake of you, don't you love yourself?
