Let me get this straight. You mean to ask why all the good hotels in Pune are in Camp? Hope I have managed to interpret your question properly.

Well, I dont think all the good hotels in Pune are camp based. There are a couple near Deccan also (e.g. Pride, the hotel in E Square etc.) Not to mention the various decent ones near FC/JM roads.

We also have the best ones near Bund Garden (guess its also near camp). Ones like Le Meridian, Sun and Sand, Taj and a couple of business hotels which have sprung up recently.

Now why are there more/better hotels near camp.

1) Nearer to the airport

2) Better/more cosmopolitan part of the city
