  1. Do you think that it is so simple to join rivers? If it had been that simple then they would have done it long back - they don't need your advice.

  2. eradication of poverty is a best slogan for polititions for capturing power. but no step will be taken for the same. they want poverty to remain to keep the slogan alive permanently.

similarly an issue impossible with the available source of funds is takenup (the linking of rivers) for just political advantage

  3. i too hav a same questions, politicians dont want the problem to be slved nearly every state have the water dispute over other state i think this is the only solution for the problem to be solved, but the so called politicians take this basic need of the human being for playing and gaining seats.if this is in military rule only it is possible

  4. Man's greed knows no bounds. As it is,without changing the course of a river, states are fighting with one another for

building dams, raising levels of dams, relasing water for drinking to another state etc.If the various rivers are connected or joined together, the center would not be able to address any other matter of importance but will spend its entire tenure trying to pacify states, their politicians and people and generally doing an impossible balancing act.

Such a project will not be a "Master" but a "Disaster" of all projects.
