  1. Because it is Hurricane Season!!!! Usually the worst is August, September, Til the beginning of November!!!

  2. Because the Ocean is Getting Warmer...

Remember, the Earth likes things in equilibrium....

So Warm Waters makes the Earth Want to become cooler...

So it makes hurricanes, the more warm the more devastating, the more hurricanes, the longer the season

  4. It's the peak of the season, that is why.  The season isn't over until November 30...global warming has nothing to do with it.  This happens every 40 years or so.

  6. Hurricane season runs from July to November.  Peaking around August - September.  Dunno that I would term them "amusing".
