Question:

Why all the focus on mainland China?

Just off the top of my mind I already think of Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau as already established "successful" Chinese nation-states whose people have roots in China. Why is there so much focus on mainland China now? Is it because mainland China could be the "last in line" for a Chinese nation to develop?

  1. i think the reason with the spotlight on china, especially recently, is because of the olympics.

but of course, china has been the topic of many a discussions, mainly because of the global economic impact that they will have within the next decade(s).

from what i understand, they should be a 'superpower' before the end 2020.

oh, and another reason (that ties in with the olympics) is because of the way that china has treated tibet.

and because everybody loves jackie chan. but honestly, how can you not???

  2. could be because of the Olympics; how so many disprove their policies in general; or it's soaring economy within a short-term.... or a combo

  3. Of course, China is developing fastly.

China also manufacture 75% of the products on Earth.

Well, maybe the olympics is coming up.

    If that's what you're asking.

  4. why not all the focus on mainland china?
