Why all the fuss about rangers fans again?

i'm not condoning anything that has been said by some..but ffs..some of the questions and answers from celtic fans lately has not been much better...whats with the holier than thou attitude..can you not admit that some of your fans are just as bigoted as others..i'm fed up with people apologising about things they have not said or done..no one bothered when certain 'celtic' fans were getting stars and thumbed up for quite nasty questions and answers..just what is the difference.....and can i ask has it been confirmed that lennons attack was sectarian..or just another excuse to score some cheap points....bring on the usual..'scotlands shame'..orcs..manchester..blah blah blah

There is a difference between a supporter and a scum bag who calls himself/herself a supporter so don't let it get you down to much it is sicking when we see all this c**p and it does get a reaction it will all go in a day or 2.

as for Lennon's attackers it was confirmed by the police that it was indeed a sectarian attack, but you should not apologize for it I know it wasn't you.

I hope I did not upset you with my question about sectarian singing, I just don't think that it is acceptable From Either Side Of THE OLD FIRM.

That aside, I don't think I have slagged of the rangers fans much ever!

I admit there are many bigoted fans on both sides but hopefully I am not one of them.

I was disappointed by Nacho Novo on Sunday who's actions before he came on were far from acceptable, but some people like Boruc and Jan Venegoor who I am told was niggling with the goalie at the other end before he came on , just think they are smart and don't do their club any good by their antics.like all the nasty questions and answer on here, just try to ignore hem,that's what I try to do.

RANGERS were Fantastic on Sunday and some folk can't accept that.!

Sorry to point out the obvious -there is good and bad on both sides-but UEFA's disciplinary sanctions tell me that Rangers have a far bigger problem with sectarianism than Celtic have or will ever have-hmmmm.................

the majority are fine but there is a fair few w@nkers that follow Rangers. Im no sayin that my other Tic fans are all saints but Rangers dae have a few more

check out Manchester, Rangers fan wur tae blame for that, there was english fans amonsgt it but there wiz also Gers fans doing it. And the assault of Neil Lenney lennon by guys in thier 40s just shows what im saying.

calm down there!!  the section of people in the rangers end that chanted about tommy burns and phil o donnell are scum and i hope they die a slow painful death but i dont class them as rangers fans they are animals who use rangers as their front to spout that filth, as for lenny it has been confirmed by the police that he was subjected to sectarian abuse before he was attacked but again i wouldnt put you and other decent gers fans in the same bracket as they numpties, both sides have idiots and always will!!

On the other hand, I am not religious myself and these things don't matter one bit when I attend any football game be it Raith or Scotland so I really don't understand any of it either.

its something that does make me glad that im not an Old Firm fan.

a small section of idiots spoil the fun and ruin the reputation of a clubs fanbase, and in the case of Rangers and Celtic, they are as a whole, fantastic fans (you wont hear me admit this again btw)

but even you BB, absolutly none of you Old Firm fans can take any criticism in the slightest without spitting out the dummy. Only a few weeks ago you were saying im against Rangers etc, but again i recall Cardinal Folly always said i was a gers fan because i picked holes in celtic. all i do in the section is give it to you old firm fans straight, i may not like either club that much, due to my religion and past beating for a group of Rangers fans i may rather see Celtic win an Old Firm game but that doesnt make me anti gers. There is only one team in Glasgow and they play in Hoops, red and yellow/pink and silver hoops though!!

When it comes to it, Rangers and Celtic fans are disliked by the rest of us because its your way or no way, but thats not the fault of the fans. You guys are used to winning, and i bloody wish i was and il tell you that for free

two sets of great fans who are just tarred by a small section. Look at it when Scotland play, the Tartan Army is made up of both sides of the Old Firm, and we are the best National Fans in the world by a long shot,

also, sorry im ranting at the moment, if you look at the way both sets of fans are leaving messages here in support of Annemarie and her hard times at the moment, even the ones who are always really offensive at times are leaving great genuine messages for her, and that speaks volumes of us all, no matter what club our heart lies with

As Bluenose said I am ashamed of what some so called Celtic fans write on here...the t1t who comes on and tarnishes the memory of people who died in the Ibrox disaster etc...

those are not fans, they are cowards who hide behind a screen and go to football matches in a group to be vile.

if we eradicate the bigotry and idiots we can argue and banter all night long..but sadly there are times when I walk away as I am disgusted by some Celtic fans.
