Why all the pillionriders expect the rider to rule the road ?

Because, if you compare any accident Pillion riders are worst hit then the rider.

Therefore they expect the rider to follow road decipline & ride safe.

If rule the road means own the road, it's because they don't know any better. Chances are they rode pillion with someone who rides like a jack___. We don't all ride that way.

I DO rule the road, for one lane width, and one car length fore and aft. That's MY space. I don't share it, but I don't infringe on another's space.
