I am a surveyour, for the past 3 months i have been working in North London. I had never seen such beautiiful homes and millions of s**y 4x4 and Lexuses in other areas of London. There are some in Holland Park and Kensington but the number of which is not comparable to North London.

  1. Not everyone who lives in North London is rich, I live in Islington down the road from Highgate, Muswell Hill & Crouch End.  I live in the Finsbury Park area, surrounded by council estates & beautiful Victorian houses, I desperately want one of them, any got a half mill they can spare?

  2. not true really because some low standard people live there as well........like guys who are on benefits and get paid everything when they come from abroad.

  3. I think that great care has been taken in North London to preserve parks and green areas. That is perhaps some indication of the type of person who inhabits the area. There are areas which are so delightfully rural that one can forget that one is in London (try Totteridge, if you haven't already seen it!)

I am amazed, by the way, that Fantazamaraz, the man who grew up in London, never noticed that St John's Wood and Hampstead were in North London!

  4. Because it is the nicest place on earth, especially here in Hampstead. The alternative is Croydon!!! Brixton!!! Penge!!! No. North London is beautiful

EDIT: SS has a valid point. It aint all wine and roses up here. Kensal Rise, Harlesden, Tottenham are all run down, and Clapham in south London is nice and very rich

  5. I grew up in my early years in North London and I never saw homes that could be compared to Kensington, Knightsbridge, Chelsea, St. John's wood or Hampstead. I did however see a lot of folks from many different lands.!
