  1. Nice job on the English. I am going to translate what you asked to Why doesn't the altitude of an airplane affect the passengers and crew?

The answer for this would be cabin pressurization, O2 systems, and air scrubbers. They maintain an oxygen density close to what you would have at sea level while you are at 30,000 feet.

  2. hmmm. Not quite yes..its... Best a pressurization system could do at 30,000 feet would be to hold about a 5000 foot cabin. And people aren't here to have their english corrected.

  3. There are three main factors:

    Cabin pressurization

    Oxygen Systems

    Air scrubbers

The conditions are made as if they are at sea level.

Thus my ipod touch works in an aircraft at 30000 feet while as the max. altitude in the manual is 2400 feet

  4. Yeah, cabin pressurization is the correct answer, it controls the pressure through a pressure outlet valve which will only let the inside airpressure reach a predetermined value....however, the normal altitude that commerical airplanes are pressurized to is around 8000 feet....

  5. The people who built the airplane were very clever, and they thought about that ahead of time.  So they built the airplane with a pressurized cabin that maintains a cabin altitude of 8,000 feet or lower when the airplane is flying at higher altitudes.  People like it that way, so they decided to make all airliners that way.

  6. pressurised cabin, oxygen, air scrubbers etc etc plus sitting in the cabin in enclosed environment removes the phobia for height.

people with phobia for enclosed environment would not be confortable thus may be one reason for fear of flying
