No matter how hot the weather is I'm always cold. My hands and feet are always as frozen as blocks of ice, the ends of my fingers often go purple and whenever I shake anyones hand they tend to jump back with shock lol. Lots of people think its strange but I want to know if its something to worry about, it seems to be getting worse as I get older.

  1. could be a circulation problem or thyroid deficiency

    go see your doctor please

  2. could be a circulation problem or thyroid problem or anemia.

  3. Poor circulation and low blood pressure are generally considered causes of feeling cold. You may want to check out dietary options as there are many alternative, healthy methods to improve your condition besides medication. One option is to check out a medical astrologer, a friend of mine is very good at this. Check out the links below. Hope you feel better soon.

  4. I don't think being that cold is healthy, I would definitely consult a physician! How do you feel when you work out? Do you get warmer or do you stay cold?

  5. The bodies temperature is controled by the heart.  I would get it check out.

  6. It could be from being too skinny or poor circulation.

  7. you should see a doctor, it isn't normal to have fingers etc turning purple. Poor circulation and extreme anemia should be corrected. I am anemic and always cold but my fingers don't turn purple.

  8. It's probably just poor circulation. I think I have that. Also, I have more than enough body fat and its not to do with that because I am cold. Unless I'm baking that is.

  9. I have the same problem, its just low body fat. body fat is like a sweater it keeps more people warmer if you are overweight. Im 110 lbs and i workout all the time, i work in an office with three overweight women and they always have the airconditioning on full blast and they still seem to be fine and im freezing my but off! i wear pants a couple shirts and a sweater to work! so its just low body fat. Body fat is like insulation.

  10. Well cold hands and feet could be because of lack of physical activity.

  11. You should go to the doctor and get blood work done.  You may be lacking iron or potassium.

  12. Poor blood circulation, so I suggest baby aspirin to thin your blood, which might help, but consult a pharmacist.

  13. You probably have a circulation problem, or it's just because you've had a growth spurt. Talk to a doctor about it, as it could be the sign of something serious.
