Question:

Why am I always so tired??

I'm very frustrated because I can't figure out why I feel tired during the day. I eat healthy every day, exercise most days, take vitamins daily, and drink plenty of water. I don't drink soda, don't smoke or drink alcohol. I am 23 years old so I should have lots of energy, especially with my healthy life style, shouldn't I? If anyone can suggest anything I should do or something I should take (not energy drinks/pills because those are not good for you), I would really appreciate it.

  1. go to the doctor and get it checked out because it could be something serious

  2. I guess if you think you are healthy the only thing I can come up with for this is that you eat too much. Did you know that a healthy man can live up to about 70 days without food?

-So my guess is that you are eating too much which diverts oxygenated blood away from your brain and goes to your digestive system; thus, making you tired.

-If it isn't that try saving your sexual energy. Having s*x too often or masturbating too often can drain of your libido which I have heard is linked to almost every active thing we do.

Another theory I have is that food and s*x are both powerful motivators. Having easy access to both can mean that you don't need the extra energy you might have from not having easy access to those two things. If you aren't hungry would you feel like you have the energy to go fetch food anyway?

  3. i have this feeling too its not enough sleep or the loss of blood like bloddy noses

  4. I have the same problem but mine is realated to my unhealthy lifestyle. drinking, pills, depression, self injury, used to be suicidal. Those things are what is making me so tired all the time. Maybe you just aren't sleeping well at night. Or you could be sleeping too much. If I sleep more then 9 hours I will be even more tired then if I sleep 5 like a usual day.

  5. you probably aren't sleeping well...that is the first thing to get taken care of...you may toss and turn..have restless leg syndrom...try taking a iron pill and a b-complex...they did help me

  6. There could be any number of a million  causes for lack of energy. It's hard to say for SURE, but a few are:

Depression, low thyroid, bipolar, mononucleosis, and more. I'd talk to a doctor about it. The first possibility of depression is the one that came to mind when reading your question. Lethargy (lack of energy) is one of the major symptoms. Others are: forgetfulness, inability to concentrate, oversleeping, irritability, insomnia, OVER-sleeping... All are pretty common ailments of one with depression.

Threre's not alot to go on with the info you gave, so the guess may be  way off-mark. But if it COULD be.. Try and get past the negative stereotype. Think of it as more of an easily correctable alteration of brain chemistry. There are more possibilities that come to mind, but this is my first guess on what's goin on.

  7. i think you need a healthier mentality about things.

it sounds like you are depressed, ive been there for a long time and it took me a while to climb out of it without medication (dont take meds for it tho you will end up with a stronger mind if you work it out yourself).

sometimes depression hides too.. it could be caused by anything, but its usually an unhealthy way about things.

suppose you think about things negatively, it can build up and cause it

ALSO on top of depression which is the probable cause for it, it could be something far less.  have you ever thought about just thinking you are more energetic? sometimes i catch myself feeling tired during the day just because i feel like i should for some reason.

be more passionate about being ALIVE and just do things that make you happier more
