Why am I always thirsty everyday?

I drink a lot of water everyday. But somehow, my throat is dry and my lips are dried also. I use the bathroom more than anyone in my house. It's really weird. I just took two sips of water while typing this question and I probably will have to use the bathroom again when I've just used it about 20 minutes ago. Thanks for you help =)

  1. you probably need to change your diet

  2. If you're drinking lots of water and still feeling thirsty and going to the toilet more often get your doctor to check for diabetes:

  3. Hi there - you need to have your blood sugar levels checked with some blood work. Excessive thirst is one of the signs of diabetes, it would be the first thing to rule out

    Good luck to you.

  4. uhh

    UR DEHYDRATED!!!!!!!

    duhh

  5. TO that idiot who said your dehydrated, you are so not. I know what its like...stupid tonsils. my mom had that problem. something was wrong with her thyroid. It was hypo active. and it was swelling, and she said it felt like cotton balls were in her mouth, and she was always thirsty.  It could be anything really. I would suggest to go see a doctor about this. there's a world of possibilities.

  6. Drinking  a lot is one of the most obvious signs of diabetes, but it could be other things too.  I don't know if you're on any medication, but many meds make your mouth dry so of course you drink more, and then you have to eliminate it.  Better see a doctor to be sure!!
