Why am I getting Yahoo Groups Invitations in my email? Is this some kind of spammy bollocks?

I don't know these people so why would they be sending me an invite to their "Group"? I don't even know what a yahoo group is. Is this kind of spam common?

Yes, I used to get them often too. Just delete them with the rest of the Spam. If you're interested, check out the group to see if it's for real.
