During a run, my feet will start cramping in the souls and it is so painful and hard to get the pain to go away.

How do I stop this from happening?

  1. I dunno what to do.

I bartend 5-6 hour shifts every night and my feet hurt at the end of everyday.  I am looking into getting those Dr. Scholl's footpads.  B Gellin' soon.  I will let ya know if they work.

This is a link for the products I am looking into.  http://www.drscholls.com/drscholls/condi...

  2. You need shoes with better arch support.  I am guessing that when you run your heels barely touch the ground if at all.  This is a good thing don't worry, but the pain is due to the constant impact of your body weight concentrated down into the balls of your feet.  It just means your feet aren't strong enough, and until they get there you're going to want more arch support.  So go to a running store and ask them for shoes with good support.  I suggest asics or adidas if you have extra money to spend.

  3. Sounds like you need more potassium and calcium in your diet. But check with your doc first!!
