I'm 17 and in a family that has a history of bowel issues. Back in March I had a similar problem, but then it went away. This time it's similar. My stool is almost completely water. It's a green/yellow color, and looks like it has bile and mucus in it. Is it a bug? What can I do?

  1. Give a stool sample to your hospital. you may have Amoebiasis

  2. you should see your doc. its possible its just a virus but it might be something more serious considering your families medical history. does celiac diseas run in your family?

  3. I think you better get to a doctor and get a colonoscopy especially since bowel issues run in the family...if you have mucous that is not good...you don't mess around with those kind of medical issues or you can get colon cancer...I am not saying that is what it is...I am just saying you need to get a check up to be sure what it is....

  4. Sounds like irritable bowel syndrome. I would go see a doctor. There are some meds you can get for this.
