Why am I having these dreams?

About two or three nights over the last week I've had this sort of reoccuring dream. I've been with my gf for 5 months and I'm extremely happy with the relationship. But in these dreams, I keep having s*x with other women. And the part that scares me is that it's people I know, not just random girls. I feel extremely guilty about them and almost feel like I've cheated on her in some way. Whats going on? I feel terrible.

Well, I would say that you are probably starting to feel like you are in the relationship and will be for some time. With those feelings there may be unconscious questions of whether you truly want this, are ready and willing to be with no one else and things of that nature. So you are acting out your fears through your dreams. It is reoccurring because it obviously something that is bothering you or that you are afraid of. So, your mind keeps thinking about it. Therefor, you keep dreaming it.

Another thing I came across was that if you dream that you committed adultery it could mean to be on guard against confiding in new friends. Just something to think about.

dont worry I have similar dreams too, its just a harmless fantasy, unless you actually cheat on your girlfriend  I wouldnt feel guilty. I have these dreams when I havent has s*x for a few days, its just your libido!!
