Question:

Why am I never ready?

Sorry just wanted to vent. My parents just blew $150 getting me 3 stupid driving lessons, after already spending $500 on a drivers class (classroom and in-car instruction, which did pretty much nothing for me. The class was graded on multiple choice tests that were so obvious its a joke, and the in car driving was like doing loops around the neighborhood.) And after these 3 "professional" lessons I still am "not consistent" enough to pass the road test. I am fine with normal driving, but the guy just taught me hand over hand turns, and I need to get more used to parallel parking/3 pt turns, and one way streets (none of which are really practical for driving where my parents would allow me to go- but I do need to know for the road test)

The worst is that Im leaving for vacation next Friday... so my parents think I wont be "ready" unless I practice a ton before we leave, and after we get back.. THEN take another "professional" lesson till the guy says im ok.

  1. My parents sent me to professional driving lessons, and I told my parents when I was ready to go for my license. They respected my choice. Yours should too.
