Why am I not as hot this summer as I "should" be?

It's summer here in Minnesota and this is a hot week! Temperatures of 90 degrees all week. Everybody is sweating outside! Except me, I am warm but not as hot and sweaty as everybody else is. Usually I am, last summer I was way hotter than this summer at the same temperatures. I am trying to figure out why this is! I am in good shape but I'm not sure I'm in better shape than I was in last summer but I am not as hot all the time! Even outside at 90 degrees (F) with a light wind I am pretty comfortable in a t-shirt and shorts. Last summer I'd have been all sweaty! Why is this? I can't figure it out. I think maybe my body is just adapting to the heat but then why is this the first summer it has adapted so well?

  1. Human Bodies adapt to the climates they're living in. It is very likely your body grew used to having warm weather and didn't react as strongly to the heat. When I went to hawaii during the summer the first three days were h**l. But I slowly ajusted to the heat.
