Why am I not getting dates that aren't bumbs.?

I have been single for 4 years how can I meet people in a small town saint joseph missouri I can't afford alot of money for a dating service, I don't drink but I do smoke. Am I too shy. I am 5'7" tall and weigh 150 pounds, I am not ugly

if you live in a small town it might already be to late because people no everybody and everybody is probaly going out with each other look for someone out of town such a major city closest to you
