Question:

Why am I not miserable?

Ok, this question may sound a little ridiculous, but I am 38 weeks 2 days pregnant and still feel great! All the other women I talk to that are as far along as me seem completely miserable and are ready to have their baby out. Granted I have had some false labor and back pain, but I still don't feel "ready" to have this baby. The heat of South Texas isn't even getting to me that bad - has anyone else felt this way?

  1. I felt great throughout my whole pregnancy also.  I could not understand why people were so miserable.  Just enjoy every minute of it you will miss it when you are done.

  2. feel lucky and enjoy the last couple weeks of pregnancy, im only 18 weeks and miserable, i cant sleep, leg cramps, uncomfortable 24/7, i hear it only gets worse,

  3. It's an amazing and beautiful time in your life.

I don't feel miserable either.  I feel excited and nervous, though.

  4. Yes! Actually with my first I wasnt ready really at all. It was mid august and I felt great!!  There is nothing wrong with that at all.

you are blessed and when you do deliver you will probably have the same positive attitude about that too..

either way you dont have much longer and then get to meet your baby!!!

  5. that is so nice that you can still enjoy your pregnancy at this point.  I am 31 weeks today and I am so tired of being pregnant.  Well I should restate that.  I have 3 kids and 2 dogs so that takes alot of energy.  But good luck with the up coming birth
