Why am I not seeing the results?

Ride my stationary bike 3 times a day at least five days a week. Each segment burns a little over 100 calories at a medium resistance and I go a little over a mile.

I have a few Pilate's and other 10 minute solution DVDs. I try to do 3-4 a day and at least five days a week.

Walk maybe twice a week 15-30 minutes.

It's hard for me to walk because I have a 10 1/2 month old and it's just more of a hassle.

Does this seem like a good workout routine? I currently weigh just under 130lbs and am 4'10. I would like to get down to 110lbs, but mainly lose the inches. I think the part around my love handles is about 36 inch, I would like to get down to size 3-4 pants, no sure how many inches that is. I used to be a 24 inch waist and size 1-2 pants, but I know I'll never be that again. So I am trying to be realistic.

How long do you think it will be if I stay consistant and do these five days a week? I've cut back on portions a lot since I had my son and I don't a lot junk food or processed foods. Overall I eat pretty healthy, but I don't deny my self anything because that will cause me to overeat. I still breastfeed, so I have to keep up my caloric intake, other wise I get ligh headed and dizzy. I've already cut out sodas and whites a long time ago, I just never had a taste for them.

For some reason I just haven't been able to shed any weight since I lost like 15 pounds after I had my son. I was down to 117lbs one month after birth, but the weight has slowly crept up.I never had any problems with weight problems before, and I thought that breastfeeding would help me lose weight, but it did nothing for me. It seems like it's actually preventing me from losing some of the weight. Any ideas or advice?

  1. I would ask this under diet and fitness.

  2. It wont do anything unless you work out for over 30 minutes, you have to get your heart rate up and keep it up.  but stick with it.  your doing great!!

  3. its cause your looking at numbers rather than how you personally feel. Stop looking at your weight, muscle weighs more than fat.

IF anything your turning that fat into muscle, try buying a pair of pants the size you want to be and keep working out until you fit those pants, regardless of how much you weigh, you can still weigh 130 pounds and be a size 4.
