Those YA updates are often enough downdates - at least for a certain time period. On the list of questions in this category I saw your avatar, when I opened the question, it was gone. As for myself: for ages I've been using a foto avatar which I uploaded to my 360° page, now I see it only top left on the list of questions page. Also when you mouseover an avatar a bubble is supposed to pop up showing some user information, that doesn't work anymore for me neither...:-( Maybe this is what Yahoo is trying to warn about since a couple of days by saying users might experience some odd system behaviour during the current update...
