Why am I receiving my yahoo group mail on my hotmail account?

I just resigned up for yahoo groups and I am getting tons of group mail on my hotmail account. I want to keep them separate.

    http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups click Edit My Groups top left- under Email Address column  select that  address address from drop down box- click save changes
