I keep seeing flashes of light. I know it's not migranes or anything because I see them in distances and right in front of me. They look like little streaks of light that fly in and out of sight randomly. I only saw a few today. What are these streaks of light?

  1. Ive seen flashs of light alot too, then agan i DO wear glasses and i POSSIBLY an a sensetive... Its probly nothing! If you just took a picture then that could be right! There arnt any diseases that involve flashes of light and there arnt any eye infections that involve that.

  2. You need to go an ophthalmologist as soon as possible. The flashes are caused by the vitreous fluid in your eye pulling on your retina. The eye doctor needs to determine if it is a threat to the retina. In extreme cases it can terr the retina, which then needs to be reattached with laser surgery.
