Why am I shy ONLY at university and not anywhere else?

I know it sounds weird but that's the way I am. I feel shy when I'm at university, because it's packed with people my age. But when I'm somewhere else like the mall or just anywhere else, I'm suddenly being myself and not feeling shy. Why is that?

hmmm THis tells that, You are not prety sure what to do,how to behave and talk to ppls in University, and May be your trying to impress some one. Or some ppls are behaving with u some other way for which ur not comfortable.

Be in deep thinking on something when your at University, this makes ur to feel wat you are.

Pobably because you're a lot mature than other people your age, thus don't really feel comfortable

I was like that at my college.. whenever I was in a conversation with my classmates at break times I couldn't "be bothered" to share my opinions because I thought the other guys would think I'm a snob or whatever
