I had a sleep test and have restless leg syndrome. I don't usually notice it, but last night I woke up kicking because I had a dream a coyote was trying to attach me. (I saw animal attacks on tv and dreamt about them)

  1. It could be a sign of depression.... maybe you might want to check it out.

  2. I am the same way. I have a a lack of iron in my blood, but you say you had a blood test. I'd try getting more sleep, eating vitamin filled foods (or just vitamins!), relax and don't over work yourself and try the thing with cucumbers on your eyes, it's very relaxing and refreshing.

    Answer mine?

  3. I was feeling something similar....especially after I ate.  I would have a sandwich and just want to go to bed.  I went to the healthfood store and picked up some medication to help balance out my candida levels in my body.  Helped a bit, but not much.

As it turns out, I'm just really stressed out.  Do you have a lot of stress in your life?  Do you have proper ways to cope with stress?  I'm not saying that it's PTSD or anything - but there could be something emotionally wrong.  Perhaps Chronic Fatigue Syndrome - but this is something that you need to discuss with your doctor.  A good doctor will look further then just blood-borne causes.

  4. Yeah, its possible you're not sleeping properly. 'Sleep Apnea' is a common problem - my mum has it.

Even though the tests came back normal - you might still have an iron problem. I take one iron tablet twice a week (on saturdays and wednesdays). I find it helps.

Make sure you're eating a lots of red meat in a balanced diet.

My doctor also told me not drink tea after eating red meat - the tea stops the body from absorbing the iron.

Are you stressed? Stress can cause all kinds of problems with the body!

If the problem contiunes, you should go back to your doctor, find a new doctor or see a natropath.

  5. I had the same problem. Mine was due to lack of rest, irregular sleep patterns due to work, and stress. When I quit my job it cleared up with me.

  6. my mom had that so you probably need to get a sleep test, where they monitor you when you sleep

  7. I don't know why you're tired but I can suggest some things that may help.  Make sure you get 8-9 hours of sleep per night and that you're sleeping soundly.  Exercise at least 5 days a week.  Drink plenty of water and do deep breathing exercises several times a day.   Keep your blood sugar stabilized throughout the day by eating enough fiber and protein. Don't skip meals and eat 5-6 small meals per day for a steady energy supply. Stay away from high-sugar foods and limit your caffeine.  Avoid alcohol.  Try yoga and/or meditation.

  8. Depression can cause someone to feel tired and run-down and achy all the time.  It's a general "I don't feel good" but you can't really say where you hurt or what doesn't feel good.

Sleep apnea is another thing that causes fatigue.  You have to go to a sleep clinic to get that diagnosed.  A lot of ear, nose, and throat doctors are affiliated with sleep clinics.

Unfortunately, once all the tests come back normal, you're the one who has to do the digging to find out what else it could be.

  9. How long do you sleep? You just might need more rest than you're getting.
