Why am I soo tall when my parents werent?

Question

Im not like beastly or anything but im wondering why im soo tall when my parents were relatively short, My dad is about 5-10 (average) and my mom was around 5-8 Im 14 years old and 6-2 wondering why im soo tall in comparison with them. I have a 16 year old sister who is about 5-5 and a twin who is 5-4 too. Im wondering also why im soo big when I thought twins were usually small, Shes my ferternal twin however, Thanks

There's no way to explain it.  It just happens sometimes.  And the opposite happens too.  My parents are 6'3" and 5'10" yet I am only 5'11 and a half.  It just means your body is producing more HGH than what would be expected given your parents' heights.

Lol my parents are 5-3 and 5-10 yet Im 6'2

Noone in my family(I mean no one) Breaks the 6 foot mark but me. Idk its just the way God made you.

My parents were 5'10' for dad, and my mom is 5'4", and i'm 6'10" and still growing.  it's hard to say why.

Your parents don't need to have trait in order for you to have it.  Sometime before you there was a relative that was tall and there was a larger chance of having a child with shorter height than a tall child.  But this can happen even though the chances could be slim.  Everyone is different so that pretty much explains it!
